Amanda worked as a freelance journalist for several years, mostly in Dakar, Senegal, before moving into communications where she’s worked with various international organizations.
Amanda has previously worked in film, print, radio and online communications for media outlets around the world. She is passionate about social justice, development issues and the arts.
Amanda holds a double Masters degree in Media and Globalization from the Danish School of Journalism, University of Amsterdam and the University of Wales. She is currently working as a communications consultant based on Vancouver Island.
